GROUP DRAW FOR THE EUROPEAN MINIFOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - EMF EURO 2024

Today, the official drawing of the groups for the upcoming European minifootballchampionship, EMF Euro 2024, was held.

This important event was held in the studio of Hayat TV, Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the period from June 1 to 8 this year to be the host of this prestigious competition.
 
 
The Mayor of Centar Sarajevo Municipality, Mr. Srđan Mandić ordered:

"The European minifootball championship will be organized in the Mirza Delibašić hall, which has a special meaning and history for us, and we are therefore very proud that such a big event will be held right there." As you know, our country has almost received the green light for entry negotiations from the European Union to finally become one of the members, this championship can be one step on that path, we will do our best, I'm sure, to organize ourselves as best we know how. "Sarajevo is a city of sports, a city of football, and I promise you that we will show that with the organization of this competition," Mandic said.
 
 
The president of the European mini-football federation (EMF) Peter Kralik pointed out that it was an honor and a pleasure for him to be there before the drawing of pairs and invited all the fans to this beautiful city of Sarajevo and beautiful Bosnia and Herzegovina.
 
 
"Minifootball is no longer mini, it is a sport that makes the whole nation happy. We still have a little less until the start of the championship, and I would really like to thank the organizers for their work so
far and wish them luck in the future," said Kralik. The vice-president of the "Mininogomet" BiH Association, Ervin Blažević, wished all the participants good luck and success. "Regardless of the group, I am confident that each team will give their best performance and bring unforgettable instant sporting joys." Let this championship be an opportunity to strengthen ties between European countries, promote fair play and sports values. May our love for mini football be the most that connects us and inspires the future generation," said Blažević.
 
 
Ambassador "EMF EURO 2024 Sarajevo" and celebrated former football player and coach Mehmed Baždarević spoke via video messages: "I greet all those present, and I wish the organizers that the ceremony goes well. I wish all the teams a lucky draw, may fair play and the best team win the championship, and may everyone leave Sarajevo happy with a lot of good memories," ordered Baždarević. The first captain of the BiH national team, Mr. Vlatko Glavaš, spoke with the words: "I am extremely glad when our country Bosnia and Herzegovina gets to organize such a big competition. I congratulate everyone in the organization of this event, noting that it is not at all easy to get the organization of such a competition. I wish all the national teams and all the participants to have a great time in Bosnia and Herzegovina in our city of Sarajevo, and to bring back beautiful memories. I want the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina to present itself as well as possible and achieve a notable result", said Glavaš.
 
 
A total of 24 national teams from the old continent will compete at the European mini-football championship, and by the will of the draw, the host national team is placed in group A together with the national teams of Montenegro, Slovenia and Albania.
